The Plan

Ok…Let’s get down to it…I’m not really a “Dear friends” kind of girl. I’m a, “Hey, Let’s get this project (party) started!” kind of girl. I have big plans for my little hell hole!

I will be breaking this project in to 3 phases:
  • Phase 1 - My bedroom, my son Francis’s bedroom, the hall and laundry area, my studio/office and the dining room.
  • Phase 2 - Kitchen and Bathroom – total gut job on the kitchen!
  • Phase 3 - Outdoor Projects – Repair and repaint the shed, create an entertaining area, fix the play center, build a super cool awning at the front door and do some landscaping.
Phase 1 offers me the ability to make the quickest design impact for the least amount of cash outlay! If I don’t hurry up and make something in here beautiful, I’m going to totally lose it!! Plus the doctor (Me) ordered a little…ok… a LOT of art therapy to help me heal!

Phase 2 is going to require more cash and some extra hands….professional hands to get it done. I plan to do as much of the plumbing that I can myself, but hire an electrician for relocating some outlets and lights.

Phase 3 will be just plain fun! I love to entertain, so you’ll see lots of that on the blog, so creating an outdoor space to host parties is going to be enjoyable! For these projects I will call in the troupes’ as I have several close friends and family members that are landscapers and gardeners. So, I’ll host some weekend work/party bees! lol

Thanks for joining me on this journey!

Live beautifully!
